Facebook reviews work: How to get more positive reviews for your business.

Seeing an advertisement for a new product on Facebook is one thing; but don’t forget about the reviews. It’s become common courtesy to leave your opinion about products you buy or visit, whether it’s a restaurant or some other establishment. Facebook recently introduced their own review system where people can give their feedback in the form of stars and thumbs up—but there are some terms and conditions you should know before you start raving about your latest purchase.

The review system is a great way of letting your friends, family and fan base know what you think of something. It’s also a nice way for businesses to gain insight about how their customers are feeling, as well as getting feedback from those who have left reviews. It’s also important to keep in mind that Facebook only shows the 5 most recent reviews from the top page image so if your review was older than 5 days it will not be displayed.

It is common courtesy to leave a positive review. The rating scale on Facebook is 1-5 with 5 being the best rating, however not everyone believes that all reviews should be positive or negative, there should be a realistic balance between both sides. This is because everyone is different and their opinions vary.

If you have left a positive review, then don’t be surprised to find out that the business you have given a high rating to has returned the favor. If they see that you have been posting lots of positive reviews, don’t be surprised if they give you a discount or offer something in return for your kind words.

You should also remember that when you post something on Facebook, it’s there forever and can potentially follow you for the rest of your life. This means that any businesses or companies will be able to see what your likes and dislikes are and use this information to their advantage or put some pressure on you when it comes down to making a purchase decision.

If you are just beginning of your career, remember that many customers will want to give you a good review. However, this is a two-way street. If you leave a poor review, then businesses and customers will be more wary of giving you their business and the same will happen back to you if you give the wrong kind of feedback.

How to get more positive reviews for your business?

Every day your Facebook page is open for business, customers are scrolling through and being faced with the question: “Do I like this business?” They’re also seeing how other people feel about your business. That’s why it’s important to get positive reviews on Facebook.

Fortunately, the more good you do for your customers (provide excellent service & products) and ask them to review you, the more likely they are to do so. Here are a few tips on getting reviews:

  • Start by asking customers in person if they would be willing to write a review of their experience with your company.
  • Most importantly, remember that a review will be taken down if the customer doesn’t feel comfortable writing it or doesn’t want to share their personal information. Customers know this and will often ask for privacy when writing their reviews.
  • Have a review form on your Facebook page so people can leave reviews.  For example: “Would you like to leave us a review? please write your experience below.”
  • Encourage customers to leave reviews by displaying them on your Facebook business page and encouraging them to do so through the use of pixels from companies that offer this service.
  • Be sure to thank customers for their reviews.

Display The Reviews Tab on Your Facebook Page.

If you’re a business owner with a Facebook Page, you know how important reviews are. They help potential customers decide whether or not to do business with your company. In fact, reviews can make or break your company’s success! However, if you’re like most businesses owners, formatting the review tab to show on your page may seem like a daunting task. But under the hood, it’s really easy to set up. In this article, I’m going to show you how.
The steps involved are as follows:
1. Go to your Facebook Page ( here ) and click on the “Reviews” page. If you have written reviews there already, take a quick look at how they’re formatted. Many people don’t realize that if the review is not formatted for display on your Facebook Page, all of your reviews will be placed into a “Service Requests” section in place of the Reviews tab.
2. Once you click on the Reviews tab, you’ll be taken to the “Reviews” tab.
3. Once there, click on “Edit Page Settings…”
4. Enter your name, email, and password so that you can access your Facebook Profile Information (you’ll need this to gain access to edit Page Settings):
5. From the left side of the page, scroll down and select “Facebook App Center” (down at the bottom) and log in with your Facebook credentials:
If you have not yet set up your Facebook App Center (which is free), follow these easy steps to do so:

13. Click on it to search for apps related to what you’re looking for (in my case, Restaurant Reviews):
14. Click through pages until you find an app that has a Facebook Reviews tab:
15. Click through to the app’s “Settings” page and click on “Extras” in the right column:
16. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Facebook Reviews Tab”:
17. Click “Save Changes” at the top of the page and that’s it! You’ve successfully set up your Facebook Reviews tab. Once you’ve published the tab, it’ll be available for your Facebook fans to view!
You can monitor your reviews by clicking on the “View” link under the Reviews tab on your Facebook Page.

We have seen that getting reviews on Facebook can be successful, as there are several Facebook pages with active Yelp business accounts with more reviews than their Yelp page. This means they’re getting more positive reviews and engaging with customers. It’s up to you to embrace this opportunity and engage your customers so they’ll go the extra mile and leave you a review on Facebook.

FAQ:

What happens when you write a review on Facebook?

Before you go ahead and write a review on the Facebook page of a company, let’s take a moment to think about what could go wrong. After all, this is your page – so what happens when you write an unfavorable review? Does it show up on your personal profile as well? It’s best if you have another human being do reviews for you; after all, it can be nearly impossible to get out of business without some kind of feedback. If they’re worried about their rating or because they don’t want their name associated with negative reviews in case it affects them in the future, there are other venues for them to post this information that won’t show up on your personal profile.

Look, the notion is that if the company is truly good and they want to show they’re better than their competition, they’ll be open to reviews. It’s not like a business owner who can’t let it all hang out and include both positive and negative reviews will ever look trustworthy in the eyes of potential customers. Let me ask, how likely are people to do business with someone who won’t even address any concerns or criticisms? The funny thing about social media is that no matter how you try to cover things up or hide information from people, sometimes it ends up showing on your personal profile anyway.

How do you get reviews on Facebook?

Facebook is growing as an important marketing tool for businesses, but it also provides a valuable opportunity for companies to gain new customers and create brand awareness. One way to get more people interested in your company or product is through Facebook reviews.

In order to ensure that your business has a good chance of receiving reviews on Facebook, you need to provide the right content. This means consistent updates, engaging posts, and quality images to entice visitors who are looking for something new and exciting in the market. Additionally, business owners should make sure they tailor their communication strategy depending on what type of audience they’re trying to reach.

“Good” comments and discussions:

While positive comments and reviews are a great way to enhance your reputation, it’s equally important to monitor negative comments. This allows you to be proactive and address any issues that may arise before they affect your online reputation. When a customer has an issue or complaint, reply promptly for the best results. Also, monitoring what people are saying about your company or brand on Facebook is an excellent way to gain valuable insights into how you can further improve your business or products.

Do Facebook reviews show on my timeline?

One of the most popular questions about Facebook is what’s your status update? You may have seen people post on their timeline, “I’m feeling blessed to be alive,” with a simple emoticon of a thumbs-up.

First, you need to understand that Facebook has two areas for posts. The first area is for posts meant only for your friends and the second area is public posts that are visible on your timeline and News Feed. When you post on your timeline, only people who are your friends can see it. But when you post in the News Feed, anybody can see what you’ve posted.

If you choose to make your status updates public, then they will show up on your Facebook timeline. So when someone posts “I’m having the greatest day ever!”, this may be seen by their friends as well as everyone else who visits their profile or News Feed.

Do Facebook reviews need to be approved?

Facebook employs an algorithm that is constantly scanning posts and comments for certain key words and phrases. If the algorithm detects something that it deems to be a threat, it will remove it and notify the poster about the removal. For example, if someone posts something that Facebook believes may lead to violence, it will remove the post and ban the person from Facebook for a period of time. If someone posts something such as “I’m going to help you get that new car you need by robbing an old woman in her own home,” they would face consequences.

If you have recently seen your Facebook reviews being removed, this is likely why. You may wonder how an online entity can possibly discern whether or not your review is favorable or unfavorable for a certain business or product.

Can Facebook reviews be trusted?

Yes, seriously, there are more than 2.93 billion people who use Facebook each day — and they’re all looking to connect with friends and family on this social platform by using the Facebook Messenger app to chat privately or through public posts.
